A look back at @matenacht 🌙🧉
5 September 2026 at @younity.utrecht
A day that moved between books, visual art, experimentation, performance, music, and conversation, each part bringing its own atmosphere to the space.
📚 Arabic Book Corner | @binyanbooks
Arabic literature found its place throughout the day, inviting visitors to browse, discover new titles, exchange recommendations, and take new stories home.
🎨 Open Atelier
A space to slow down, draw, paint, experiment, or simply sit alongside others creating. No pressure, no fixed outcome, just an open table for curiosity and expression.
🖋️ Flash Tattoo Workshop | @gandy_mansour
Visitors stepped into the process behind tattoo art, trying the tattoo machine themselves on practice skin and exploring linework, movement, control, and technique.
👁️ Experiencing the Senses | Silas Sitzler
Through movement and playful sensory exercises, participants explored touch, sight, and balance in a different way, slowing down, becoming more aware of their bodies, and noticing how we experience the world through our senses.
🎶 The Dreamer | @akshaymodak7
Words and handpan came together in an intimate presentation of The Dreamer: A Journey of Unbecoming, opening a reflective moment around identity, the roles we carry, and what may exist underneath them.
🎭 Untitled | @hoogendamlex
No explanation. No introduction to what it was supposed to mean. Lex invited the audience to simply watch, experience, and form their own relationship with the performance.
Thank you to all the @ultimateteashop @aida_kitchen19 @imadiddin_ , artists, participants and visitors who made this edition of Maté Nacht what it was. 🌙🧉
